LENS CHILOANE
Writer/Director
Born and raised in the small city of Mbombela, Mpumalanga.
The nights I'd use cartoons as an escape when my single mother would be on night shift made me learn how important such creations are. The escapism was a big draw for me. This translated to the comics I'd create throughout my childhood, which led to acting and eventually writing & directing. I create windows that allow for us to escape the seemingly inescapable house that is reality.
Katelyn Clark
Actress
Katelyn Clark, Born and raised in Riverlea Johannesburg. I've always wanted to become an actress because being an actress is a form of art that broadens the mind. I love acting because it allows me to engulf myself into completely different character's, different thoughts, ideas and opinions. I also love being able to bring the next person's story to life and being comfortable enough to share their experiences with the rest of the world and teaching others a life lesson.
SHIRELLE DANIELS
Co-Producer
Coming from an artistic family, I quickly formed a love for all forms of art and film just happened to be above it all. The idea of being in charge of leading a group of creatives to create a film intrigued me. (I also plan to walk on so I kinda have to stay in this industry).
THANDEKILE THABETHE
Actress
I grew up in Pietermaritzburg, KZN.
I was inspired by the idea of doing something I love and the idea of putting myself into other people's shoes
ANELISIWE FUNO
Actress
Anelisiwe Funo was born in a very small cold town called Cala. She then moved to East London and was raised there by both her parents until matric . She is currently residing in Johannesburg . When I was growing up I used to be dramatic and really loved acting . My desire for acting got serious when I never missed any of the South African soapies and always saying to myself I can play that role better. My desire is to show the world acting is not about just being dramatic but getting out of your comfort zone and being a meaningful character to the viewers or the audience and to always believe in yourself .
MESHAENE DAVIDS
Costume, Make up and Styling
I was born and raised in Johannesburg in a township called Westbury.
Being able to tell a visual story of a character, simply with costume, make-up and styling (CMS) is one of the main reasons why I chose to study this. The satisfaction I receive knowing that I get to bring a character to life from a script to the screens is what constantly fuels me.
BONGANI BALOYI
Co-Cinematographer
My name is Bongani Baloyi, born in The Vaal. I am 22 years young and I am an aspiring cinematographer. When I grow up I never knew that I would end up in the film industry, the love for film started with the art I used to draw. I loved drawing my favorite cartoons on paper to express how I felt at that moment. What inspired me to study film is the art of storytelling and how the film is executed using the camera, this always blew my mind. We express culture because of storytelling and art. God is the reason why I do what I do, the art is from him, all praises to a God. Amen!
THULISILE NKOSI

MELUSI YENDE
Visual Effects Artist
Peace and love; hailing all the way from Kempville, which is a small Muslim suburb located in Mkhondo, Mpumalanga. I live in my head a lot so that's why I ended up doing VFX, because of the freedom it gives to create rad environments, objects, creatures, and even characters!
KENEILOE PATERSON

Born in London and raised in Pretoria. Why do I do cinematography? I just love the camera, as easy as that!

SIBUSISO MAHLANGU
Data and Grader
As a child I used to watch lots of movies some more than others but one thing I never took into account and never realized was how much goes into making a film, so I was set on a path to psychology to influence people and to understand the human brain more.
When I did find out what it took to make a film and found out that being a grader involved manipulating the human brain to believe something visually adding things such as colour to allow the brain to think what you intended it to, I just found that very cool, also the name being a colourist sounds cool too :)
