Synopsis
Interacting with water serves as a sexual act in the world of the Aquasapians and society is divided between those who are doing it now and those that aren’t. After a submissive adolescent discovers that they’re one of the few classmates who haven’t done it, they have to decide if they’ll act on the sexual urge that consumes their thoughts, now or later.
Director's Statement
"Choice is an exploration of sex, decisions about it and the negative aspects of imposing one's opinions about the subject onto another. The story focuses on the other worldly element of the film while conveying the message about sex to make it easily digestible. The subject being discussed is often avoided due to its taboo nature and this film aims to shine a light on the wrongs that aren't being rectified due to the silence. Choice teaches us to make our own decisions regarding sex and to not impose our opinions about sex onto others."
